Introduction to
Breast Uplift

There are varying degrees of sagging (ptosis) of breasts. The degree of ptosis is determined according to the position and level of the nipple relative to the level of the crease under the breast.

A breast uplift (mastopexy) operation will reshape a sagging (ptotic) breast to a more normal, pleasing and youthful shape without changing its actual size. A new ‘skin bra’ is fashioned which reduces the surface area of the skin covering the breasts in relation to the breast volume so that they are fuller and more pert with the nipples raised to a higher position. This gives the breasts a much more favourable aesthetic appearance.
